This young couple already owns a country house and wanted to maximize their living space in Montreal. It was a very inspiring project for us, because we had several constraints at the start. The owners decided to first dispose of the old ''turquoise'' garage, and this gave us the space needed to design a magnificent dining area under the pergola. Another major constraint was to manage the number of steps separating the ground floor from the garden. The integration of a spa allowed us to create an intermediate level, thus ensuring a smoother and more harmonious transition. This space already benefits from a good vegetation cover with large trees around the perimeter and the owners wanted a minimalist layout requiring little maintenance. This garden won the 1st prize in 2023 from the Association of Professional Landscapers of Quebec.
